Today's Everyday Fashion: The Holiday Party

I love red and sequins together for the holidays! (See how I wore it last year on Christmas Eve.) For a holiday party last night, I achieved this combo by pairing an old red dress with two recent Black Friday purchases - a sequin cardigan and purse - to make it feel new again. This dress is also a great example of making a cheaper dress look more expensive with altering. I bought it one size bigger from Forever 21 so it would be longer, and had it altered to fit a couple years ago. Are you a fan of red + sparkles for holiday? Cardigan: Limited, $40 -  It was warm so I didn't need the cardigan; I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it!
